Photography at the Intersection of Space and Presence

I photograph spaces with human presence, not as documentation, but as atmosphere.

The work explores the relationship between people and their surroundings: how architecture, interior design, light, and posture interact to create meaning. Models or everyday people introduce scale, emotion, and narrative.

These images are created for brands, institutions, and editorial contexts where calm, precision, and visual clarity matter. From corporate communication and campaigns to editorial and brand storytelling, the goal remains consistent: images that feel considered, timeless, and grounded.

Each project is approached with sensitivity and clarity from concept to execution. I work closely with clients and creative teams to ensure a smooth process and results that integrate seamlessly into existing brand communication.

About

My name is Asja Caspari, I am a Hamburg-based photographer.

I create portraits and spatial images defined by elegance, atmosphere, and light — often combining people and architecture with an artistic touch.

My work is commissioned by design-driven brands and publishing houses, including Lanserhof, Telekom, and Google.

With over a decade of professional experience across corporate, advertising, and editorial photography, I am comfortable leading complex productions as well as working in focused, intimate settings. I value clear communication and a thoughtful, collaborative approach.

I work from my studio in Hamburg and on location internationally.

I am a professional member of the BFF (Germany’s Association of Freelance Photographers and Film Creators) and the Female Photoclub.
